Tips for cleaning and making your stove burners shine without too much effort

As time passes and with daily use of your kitchen, you will inevitably see dirt all over its surface. Burners, grills and supports are subject to the projections of grease and dirt that accumulate on them. But it is useless to use a degreaser which is expensive and what’s more contains toxic products. Instead, choose these cleaning tips based on natural and eco-friendly products to make them shine.

To keep the various elements of your stove in good condition, it is imperative to maintain them   with regular cleaning  . Sauces, grease, food residues… your kitchen is not spared from daily dirt. Natural ingredients such as   baking soda, white vinegar or even coarse salt  can eliminate dirt and easily and effectively clean th

e burners and all elements of your stove without damaging them.

To clean the burners

The first step is to remove the burners from the stove and remove any surface dirt that sticks to them. Wash them with a   sponge soaked in water and dishwashing detergent  . If the grease won’t go away and your burners need more cleaning, place them in a saucepan and add   a little white vinegar   and Marseille soap  . Boil for 10 minutes, then let them cool. Using an abrasive sponge, rub the dirty parts of the burners again. Rinse with clean water, then let them dry before reinstalling them on the stove.

Another trick is to soak the burners in   white vinegar   and let them sit for a few hours or even overnight. Then rub them with a sponge soaked in soapy water, then rinse them and let them dry.

To clean the grills

Cleaning the grills is more delicate, in the sense that these elements clog faster than the others. Start by placing the baskets in the dishwasher first to remove most of the dirt. If this is not enough and the stains persist, immerse the grills in a large container filled with   white vinegar, bicarbonate of soda   and coarse salt. Let the grates rest for 12 hours. Then use a scouring pad and scrub the grates before rinsing them with clean water. They will be like new.
